Who we are

Dyfiant is Aled Treharne and Sean Sabbage, two senior technologists based in Cardiff.

Aled Treharne

Aled Treharne has led technology for twenty years. At SIPHON Aled grew the business from nothing to over 100 people and £150m annual turnover, building voice platforms, including 999 emergency call traffic, for 250 service providers, from 5,000-subscriber operators to Gamma, Sky Business, Vodafone, Deutsche Telekom and Cable & Wireless. Since 2021 Aled has been Chief Technology Officer of an investment platform. Aled works where strategy, teams and systems meet.

Sean Sabbage

Sean Sabbage is a staff engineer who builds the platforms other engineers rely on: cloud infrastructure, data platforms and test automation, in fintech, healthtech and telecoms. Sean has run engineering teams, including as Head of Software Engineering at SIPHON, and now works by choice as an individual contributor, hands-on in the code and at the strategic table.
